Chain flush thief arrested under anti-thuggery law
On 20.10.21, Thiru.Pem Anand sinha, IPS., Commissioner of Police, Madurai City, has ordered the detention of Sathish male, aged 24/2021 son of Balamurugan and residing at Surenran Nagar 5 th Street, Ponmeni, Madurai under Goondas Act ( Tamil Nadu Act 14/1982 who was found acting in a manner prejudicial to the maintenance of public order in Madurai City, by involving in chain snatching and two wheeler theft cases. Hence , Sathish was detained on 20.10.21 at Central Prison , Madurai, under Goondas Act in order to curtail his unlawful activities.
