Yoga training for Tamil Nadu Police
Tr. Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal, IPS, the Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai Police is taking several welfare measures for the beneficiary and wellbeing of the police personnel across all ranks and files in Greater Chennai Police enabling the Police personnel to serve the society with dedication and devotion and one such program is organizing online Yoga program for all women police personnel and officers in Greater Chennai Police. This program enables them to lead a peaceful life with strength in a conducive atmosphere.
The Greater Chennai Police in collaboration with FICCI-FLO is organizing a weekly yoga program on every Saturday for the wellbeing and benefits of the woman police personnel in Greater Chennai Police which enables them to surmount all hurdles and impediments faced by them in their daily routine work.
Today, i.e., on 19.09.2020 the online Yoga program was organized for the women police personnel of Greater Chennai Police in collaboration with FICCI-FLO and the auspicious program was inaugurated by Dr. Vaneeta Aggarwal who is a management professor in University of Madras and wife of Respected Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai Police took initiative in providing good gestures, all welfare measures and wellbeing of women police personnel and their families.
Ms. Rinku Mecheri, President of FICCI-FLO and founder of Chennai Volunteers felicitated the gatherings followed by felicitation address by Ms. Nrithya Jagannathan who felicitated the participants. The Yoga program commenced at 04.00pm and culminated at 05.00pm in which around 1000 women police personnel across all branches of Greater Chennai Police participated and benefited. Tmt. Andal anchored the entire program in imparting all important basic Yoga programs and elaborated its benefits and uses.
Tr. Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal, IPS, the Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai Police appreciated, felicitated and encouraged all the participants by extending his full support and succor in successful completion of the program. Tmt. H. Jayalalkshmi, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crimes against Women and Children Wing of Greater Chennai Police welcomed the gathering and also proposed vote of thanks.
