A person who behaves in a manner that maintains public order has been imprisoned under the Gangs Act
On 28 th of this month, Thiru Prem Anand Sinha, IPS., Commissioner of Police Madurai City has ordered the detention of Madhan , male, aged 46/2021, son of Sangaiah and residing at 126, Pasumpon Street, Sivarakottai, Thirumangalam. Madurai Distict under Goondas Act (Tamilnadu Act 14/ 1982) who was found acting in a manner prejudicial to the maintenance of public order in Madurai City by involving in mutder and Arms Act cases. Hence Madhan was etained on 28 of this month at Central Prison Madurai under Goondas Act in order to curtail his unlawful activities
