UNION HOME MINISTER’S MEDAL PRESENTED TO CBI OFFICER BANDI PEDDIRAJU

Bandi Peddiraju, Deputy Superintendent of Police, presently working in New Delhi CBI Headquarters – Cyber Crime Investigation Division, has been presented with ‘Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation’ for 2019 by Shri Kiran Rijiju, Hon’ble Minister of Law and Justice of India in the presence of Shri Subodh Kumar Jaiswal, Director, CBI, in a Conference of Investigating Officers of CBI’ held at Vignan Bhawan, New Delhi. This medal, constituted with the objective to promote high professional standards of investigation of crime and to recognize such excellence in investigation by Investigating officers. Peddiraju belongs to Srungavruksham Village (hamlet Bantumilli) in West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. He joined in CBI as Constable in 1993. So far, more than 150 Rewards are in his credit. He is also recipient of All India Gold Medal for Best Investigating Officer for 2008, Data Security Council of India Excellence Award for 2019, Outstanding Investigating Officer Awards for 2014 & 2018 and President Police Medal – IPM for 2017. He is also doing public service in the name of ‘Bantumilli Educational Trust’ for helping poor students in his village.
