Cannabis dealer from sellur arrested in goondas act

On 29.11.2021, Thiru.Prem Anand Sinha, IPS., Commissioner of Police,
Madurai City, ordered the detention of Thangapalpandi, male, aged 23/2021 son
of Pandi and residing at Manivel Compound, Muniyandi Kovil 2nd Street,
Aruldosspuram, Thathaneri, Madurai under Goondas Act (Drug Offender – Tamil
Nadu Act 14/1982), who was found acting in a manner prejudicial to the
maintenance of public order and public health in Madurai City, by possessing ganja
for sale. Hence, Thangapalpandi was detained on 29.11.2021 at the Central
Prison, Madurai, under Goondas Act (Drug Offender), in order to curtail his unlawful
activities.
