Madurai, commissioner of Police, request to public
An order under section 41 and 41(A) of Tamil Nadu City Police Act 1888, is promulgated prohibiting holding of any procession ,demonstration, or taking part in any drill,training or assembly with arms or in uniform resembling that of Armed Forces of the Union or Police whether in a public or private place and assembling of general public at public places as to avert the spread of corona virus, within the City of Madurai for a period of 15 day commencing from 10.00 hours on 17.11.21, and ending with 10.00 hours on .02.12.2021(both days inclusive ) All assemblies, procession , demonstration and meeting etc. in any street, road thoroughfare or other public places within the city of Madurai are hereby prohibited during the priod .
However, all intending applicants should apply for permission etc. fivr days in advance and failure to do so, will result in rejection of the same.
