BHARATHI STADIUM FOR T-10 CRICKET TOURNAMENT:
The Maiden edition of CISF T-10 Cricket Tournament successfully organized in Neyveli
The maiden edition of Neyveli T-10 Blast, a cricket tournament for CISF personnel, was concluded in Bharthi Stadium on 01.03.2021 after a thrilling final between Thermal Gladiators and Fire Scorchers. The match for 3rd place between Mine Warriors and Battalion Blasters went to Superover, and Mine Warriors won in the end.
Thermal Gladiators beat Fire scorchers by 15 runs to clinch the maiden T-10 Blast Trophy. The trophy was presented by Shri Digvijay Kumar Singh, DIG and Dr. M Shaik Abdulla, Sr. Commandant to the winning team. This was one of the several efforts, conceived by DIG CISF Unit NLC Neyveli, towards the larger objective of minimizing stress and promoting recreational avenues amongst CISF personnel.
The tournament was held in Bharthi Stadium on 28.02.2021 and 01.03.2021. Total of 04 team participated in it : Mine Warriors, Thermal Gladiators, Fire Scorchers and Battalion Blasters. There was a lot of excitement and energy in the stadium and amongst all the players and spectators. The tournament truly lived up to all its hype and billing.
